Welcome by your guide. Depending on the arrival time, the transfer to the hotel will be preceded by an orientation tour of Prague. Dinner and accommodation.



DAY 2 

Destination: Prague

Prague, Europe’s historic gem, is considered one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. It’s a treasure-trove of architecture with an historical center listed by Unesco since 1992. The guided tour starts in Hradcany, the monument area of the castle which in the 16th century was the residence of the king of Bohemia and Hungary, monarch of Austria and Holy Roman Emperor. Visit St Guy’s cathedral with its beautiful panoramic view over the city from the gardens on the south side. Visit of Staré Mesto, the old town of Prague. Walk on the famous St Charles bridge and through the streets of the Carolinum to Republic square with the Municipal House and the Powder Tower. Dinner. In the evening cruise on the Vltava with aperitif. Back to your hotel. Accommodation.



DAY 3

Destination: Dresden – Berlin (approx. 370 km)

Depart for Dresden. The capital of the free state of Saxony, formerly residence of the prince electors and the Saxon kings, is dubbed the “Florence of the Elbe” because of its architectural treasures. It is situated on the left bank of the river and has accumulated a rich cultural heritage having been able to preserve or rebuild its beautiful buildings. Guided tour of the old town: the Frauenkirche (Notre-Dame cathedral), the Zwinger palace, the Semper opera… Continue to Berlin, Germany’s capital. Check-in at your hotel in Berlin. Dinner and accommodation.



DAY 4

Destination: Berlin

Berlin is reliving a golden age more than 20 years after the fall of the wall. A capital of creation and Eldorado for artists of the whole world, a trendy city of fashion and design… it’s Berlin’s architecture that shines best of all. The city has always been an important place of creation from the era of the Prussian and it has been shaped by art in all its forms over centuries. Guided tour of the German capital: the Eastern part with the television tower, Karl Marx avenue and the Brandenburg Gate, symbol of the unification between the East and the West. Continue the visit by crossing the Tiergarten, Berlin’s biggest park and discover the Western side: the Philharmonic building, Bellevue castle, Potsdamer Platz, the famous Kurfuerstendamm boulevard and the new government district. Visit the Wall museum at Checkpoint Charlie. Back to your hotel. Dinner and accommodation.



DAY 5

Destination: Berlin – Wroclaw (approx. 360 km)

Departure for Wroclaw. Situated at the foot of the Sudetes, Wroclaw is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Poland. Its eventful history has left a number of buildings in the old town competing with Krakow for their beauty. The Oder and its numerous tributaries cross Wroclaw dividing it into several isles connected by over a hundred bridges. Guided tour of the “Polish Venice”, with its bridges, gateways and canals. The old town is famous for its Gothic city hall and the Ratusz, in the middle of the big square. Discover the cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic art and the university. See the gigantic panorama painting of Raclawice (15 m x 114 m) made on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the victory against the Russians at Raclawice. Check-in at your hotel in Wroclaw. DAY 6

Destination: Wroclaw – Auschwitz – Krakow (approx. 310 km)

Depart for the South of Poland. Arrive at Auschwitz, better known around the world under the name of Auschwitz, witnessed one of the biggest crimes in the history of humanity. Guided tour of the concentration camp of Auschwitz-Birkenau, a place of commemoration and reflection on the Nazi cruelties. Continue to Krakow. Guided visit of the Jewish quarter of Kazimierz, admirably well-preserved with one of Europe’s most beautiful Jewish Renaissance cemeteries. It was here that several scenes of the film “Schindler’s List” were realized. Check-in at your hotel in Krakow. Dinner and accommodation.



DAY 7

Destination: Krakow

Krakow competes with the most beautiful cities of Europe. This former royal city and capital of Poland until the 18th century is classified as one of the 12 most beautiful European cities. A mystic city with many sides to its character, Krakow has Baroque cathedrals, Italian façades and beautiful Renaissance courts but is a young and lively city with 70,000 students, a Viennese coffee culture and a thriving arts community. Guided tour of the city dominated by Wawel castle, proudly perched on a rock above the Vistula River. Continue to the lower city with the huge market place, elegant houses and the famous Cloth Hall. Free afternoon, or optional (extra cost), excursion to Wieliczka and its famous salt mines. Exploited for more than 600 years, they are listed by UNESCO and comprise 120 km of galleries, halls, rooms and chapels on 9 levels carved from pure salt. A fascinating guided tour. Destination: Departure from Krakow (approx. 20 km)

Transfer to Krakow airport depending on your flight departure time. Assistance during check-in. Return flight.
