Adventure from Milano to Athens tour 12 Days / 11 Nights

OVERVIEW

An excellent opportunity to experience 7 countries in 12 days. This adventure starts from Milano and ends in the Athens, Greece. The tour is great mix of culture, nature, rich history, delicious food, shopping and more. Join us on this amazing trip!

DAY 1

Destination: Flight to Milano Airport-Venice
Meal plan: Lunch, Dinner 
Accommodation: 4* Hotel in Venice

Welcome to Italy! At the airport in Malpensa look for DMC Balkans Travel & Events sign. After meeting with our guide and gathering all the information about the tour, start with Milano city tour. The tour includes sightseeing of the following sights: Duomo Square, Gothic Cathedral, La Scala Opera House, Castello Sforzesco, Duke of Milan. Lunch in a local restaurant and shopping at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.

 Depart to Venice, check-in hotel, dinner and overnight.

DAY 2

Destination: Venice-Zagreb
Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner 
Accommodation: 4* Hotel in Zagreb

After breakfast at the hotel and check out, transfer via waterbuses to San Marco Venice. Start with sightseeing the following sights San Marco Square, Basilica & Doge’s Palace, Bridge of Sighs and Venetian Glass. Optional: Gondola Ride Through the Canals EUR100/Gondola (Max 6 Person).

 We will enjoy lunch in a local restaurant and later we will depart to Zagreb, Croatia.

DAY 3

Destination: Zagreb-Plitvice-Bihac
Meal plan: Lunch, Dinner 
Accommodation: 4* Hotel in Bihac

After breakfast we will start with Zagreb city tour. Zagreb city tour includes sightseeing of the following sights: St. Mark Church, Ban Jelacic Square,Zagreb Cathedral, Upper and Lower Town

Dolac Market, Islamic Center and Mosque. After finishing with ill drive towards Plitvice Lakes. Get ready your cameras. It is time to take amazing pictures of the oldest, largest, and the most amazing national park in Croatia.

 After lunch in a local restaurant we will depart to Bihac for Panoramic tour, check-in, dinner and overnight.

DAY 4

Destination: Bihac-Jajce-Travnik-Sarajevo
Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner 
Accommodation: 4* Hotel in Sarajevo

After breakfast we will proceed to Jajce and visit Magnificent Waterfall, Pliva Lakes, Wooden Watermills. Later on we will continue to towards to Travnik and visit Malaysian Mosque in Turbe Village, Plava Voda Springs and Colorful Mosque.After lunch in a local restaurant we will depart to Sarajevo.

DAY 5

Destination: Sarajevo-Mostar-Kotor-Budva 
Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner 
Accommodation: 4* Hotel in Budva

After breakfast in hotel we will start with walking city tour. Sightseeing of the following sights: visit Latin Bridge, Austro-Hungarian Archduke, Brusa Bezistan Gazi Husref Bey Mosque and Madrass, Morica Han, Vijecnica and Bascarsija. Visit Vrelo Bosne and war tunel.

After lunch in a local restaurant we will depart to Mostar and start with city tour. City tour includes sightseeing the following sights:Old bridge, Bey’s Mosque,Koski Mehmed Pasa Mosque, Oriental Bazar and Turkish House. We will visit Buna river. Optional Sufi Tekke.

 We will continue our way to Kotor. Enjoy walking city which includes the following sights: Square of Arms, Besckuca Palace, Byzanti Palace, Pima Palace, St. Tryphon Palace, Martime Museum and North Gate. As a biggest attraction are the city walls thanks to which Kotor became a part of UNESCO World Heritage. Head to Budva for overnight.

DAY 6

Destination: Budva-Tirana-Ohrid
Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner 
Accommodation: 4* Hotel in Ohrid

After breakfast we will start with exploring the city. Budva city tour includes sightseeing of the following sights: Land Gate, Ancient Necropolis, The Fortress, Njegosh’s street, Marina, Mediteranska street, Ballerina and Morgen Beach. We will continue to Tirana for a panoramic tour and enjoy lunch in a local restaurant. Later on, we will drive towards Ohrid, N.Macedonia for overnight.

DAY 7

Destination: Ohrid

Accommodation: 4* Hotel in Ohrid

After breakfast in hotel we will start with Ohrid city tour. Ohrid city tour includes sightseeing of the following sights: walking through the old town, Upper Gate, Fortress of Samoil, Ancient Theatre, church of saint Sophia, st. Jovan Kaneo and more historic monasteries, Church of Saints Clement and Panteleimon, pearl Shop, Old Bazaar of Ohrid, Ali Pasha Mosque, Ohrid Square, Old Chinar Tree. 

After lunch in a local restaurant we will drive for visiting st.Naum Monastary and the springs from Black Drim river. The rest of the day is free. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 8

Destination: Ohrid-Skopje
Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner 
Accommodation: 4* Hotel in Skopje

After breakfast in hotel we will head our way to Skopje, the capital of N.Macedonia. On the way we will stop in Tetovo for sightseeing the unique Colorful Mosque from XV century.

Upon arrival in Skopje we will start with Skopje city tour. The tour includes sightseeing of the following sights: Kale Fortress, Stone Bridge, Macedonia Square, Alexander the Great statue, Feudal Tower, Clock Tower, Daut Pasha Hammam, Aqueduct, Kapan Han, Kurshumli Han, Old Bazaar, Mother Theresa memorial house, Old train station. There are several mosques in Skopje. Some of the prominent mosques in Skopje include Mustafa Pasha Mosque, Sultan Murat Mosque, Jahja Pasha Mosque, and the Isa beg Mosque. Lunch in a local restaurant and free time.

DAY 9

Destination: Skopje-Thessaloniki
Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner 
Accommodation: 4* Hotel in Thessaloniki

After breakfast in hotel we will head our way to Thessaloniki. Upon arrival we will enjoy lunch in a local restaurant and start with exploring the city. The city tour includes sightseeing of the following sights: White Tower, Arch of Galerius, Aristoteles Square.

DAY 10

Destination: Thessaloniki-Athens

After breakfast in the hotel we will depart to Athens. Upon arrival in the Capital of Greece, first we will enjoy lunch in a local restaurant enjoy free time at leisure.

After breakfast it’s time for Athens city tour. Athens city tour includes the following sights: Acropolis, Partenon,Syntagma Square,Ancient Agoga of Athens,Temple of Olimpian Zeuz.Lunch in a local restaurant and free time to use it on your own.

Destination: Departure from Athens Airport
