Day 1

Destination: Arrival to Skopje
Meal plan: Lunch, Dinner
Accommodation in Skopje: 4* Hotel

Arrival in Skopje. Meet and greet the guide at the airport. Upon arrival in capital of Macedonia walking tour of Skopje and visit Mother Theresa house, Old Railway station, Warrior on horse, and many of the monuments from the project Skopje 2014, famous Stone Bridge and part of the old bazaar, Kale Fortress, Mustafa Pasha mosque, Old Bazar, Macedonia Street. Lunch. Free time. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

Day 2

Destination: Skopje,Canyon Matka-Mavrovo
Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Accommodation in Mavrovo: 4* Hotel

Breakfast  at hotel and proceed to Canyon Matka - walking thought the Canyon, amazing nature with unique artificial Lake Matka. Continue to the Nathional park Mavrovo and overnight in Mavrovo. Dinner at hotel.

Day 3

Destination: Mavrovo-Bigorski-Vevchani-Kalishta-Struga

After breakfast we continue through National Park Mavrovo, the biggest park in the Balkans. Next stop is the colorful city of Debar where several thousand people live. Second stop is the famous monastery St. Jovan Bigorski, still inhabited by monks. It is well known for its woodcarvings and rich history. 

Vevcani is at an altitude of 850 meters and you cycle to the lower Lake Ohrid at 700 meters. The route goes through small villages interspersed with farmland. Halfway, just before Lake Ohrid, turn right to the holy place Kalista to visit the famous rock church.

After approximately 20 km you will reach Struga, a busy town located directly on the lake. The Black Drim flows through this town and on both sides of this river are many eateries and shops. Lunch and free time. Accommodation at hotel in Struga.

Day 4

Destination: Struga-Ohrid
Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Accommodation in Ohrid: 4* Hotel

Breakfast at hotel. Than we continue to Ohrid old part of town – the cultural capital of Macedonia protected by UNESCO and the birthplace of the Cyrillic script. During the city tour St. Sofia Church, Old Plane Three, the statue of Kiril and Methodi, Ali Pasha Mosque, Helveti tekke, Old bazaar will be seen. Lunch and free time.

Than visit the Monasteryof St.Naum. First stop of this trip will be Bay of bones, museum of water and archeological site. Unique chance to learn about life in prehistoric times and experience the time traveling.

Day 5

Destination: Ohrid-Bitola

Breakfast at hotel. On the way to Bitola first  we visit the ancient city of Hereclea near Bitola with beautiful mosaics. In Bitola we’ll visit  the archeological museum and the memorial house of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk with room dedicated to Ataturk - the father of modern Turkey. We pass the most famous street Shirok sokak (Broad Alley) - with mixed romantic architectural works and many shops and coffee bars up till the old Turkish bazaar from Ottoman period. Accommodation and dinner at hotel in Bitola.

Day 6

Destination: Bitola-Krushevo-Kavadarci
Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Accommodation in Kavadarci: 4* Hotel

Breakfast at hotel. In Bitola first  we visit the ancient city of Hereclea near with beautiful mosaics, the archeological museum and the memorial house of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk with room dedicated to Ataturk - the father of modern Turkey. We pass the most famous street Shirok sokak (Broad Alley) - with mixed romantic architectural works and many shops and coffee bars up till the old Turkish bazaar from Ottoman period.

We will continue our tour towards Krushevo, the highest city of North Macedonia and in the Balkans, 1350m above sea level. The small streets, restaurants and cafes all around the city create a unique atmosphere. We will visit the Meckin Kamen statue, honouring Pitu Guli, who fought against the Ottomans to protect the town, and the Ilinden monument, honouring a group of Macedonians that fought against the Ottoman beginning the movement that resulted in a free Macedonia. Even though the Saint Jovan church and Saint Nicola church got destroyed in 1903, the original architecture is still present here. 

The last destination for today is the city Kavadarci and tikvesh area  to visit a vinery. You will enjoy a professional wine tasting and lunch in the restaurant of the winery.Overnight and dinner at hotel in Kavadarci.

Day 7

Destination: Kavadarci-Skopje
Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Accommodation in Skopje: 4* Hotel

Breakfast at hotel and check out. Continue to Skopje.

Free time in Skopje at shopping mall. Lunch.

Day 8

Destination: Skopje Airport

No accommodation 

After the breakfast check out from the hotel. Transfer to the airport for your flight back to home, bringing back wonderful memories and momentous souvenirs from trip in Macedonia.
