DAY 1

Destination: Flight to Athens Airport
Meal plan: Lunch, Dinner 
Accommodation in Athens: 4* Hotel

Welcome to Greece!  At the airport in Athens look for DMC Balkans Travel & Events sign.

After meeting with our guide and gathering all the information about the tour, start with Athens city tour. 

Athens city tour includes the following sights: Acropolis, Partenon,Syntagma Square,Ancient Agoga of Athens,Temple of Olimpian Zeuz. Lunch in a local restaurant and free time to use it on your own.

DAY 2

Destination: Athens-Thessaloniki
Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner 
Accommodation in Thessaloniki: 4* Hotel

After breakfast in hotel we will head our way to Thessaloniki. Upon arrival we will enjoy lunch in a local restaurant and start with exploring the city. The city tour includes sightseeing of the following sights: White Tower, Arch of Galerius, Aristoteles Square.

Check-in, dinner and overnight.

DAY 3 

Destination: Thessaloniki-Skopje
Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner 
Accommodation in Skopje: 4* Hotel

After breakfast we will head our way to Skopje and start with Skopje city tour. The tour includes sightseeing of the following sights: Kale Fortress, Stone Bridge, Macedonia Square, Alexander the Great statue and fountain, Feudal Tower, Clock Tower, Daut Pasha Hammam, Aqueduct, Kapan Han, Kurshumli Han, Old Bazaar, Mother Theresa memorial house, Old train station.

There are several mosques in Skopje. Some of the prominent mosques in Skopje include Mustafa Pasha Mosque, Sultan Murat Mosque, Jahja Pasha Mosque, and the Isa beg Mosque. Lunch in a local restaurant and proceed to Matka Canyon. Canyon Matka is easily Macedonia’s most distinguishable landmark – and an artificial wonder that you simply must see to believe.

DAY 4 

Destination: Skopje-Tetovo-Ohrid
Meal plan: Lunch, Dinner
Accommodation in Ohrid: 4* Hotel

After breakfast at the hotel we will drive to Ohrid. Prepare to discover Ohrid-The Balkan Pearl and the most seductive city in Macedonia!

On our way to Ohrid, we will stop in Tetovo for sightseeing the unique Painted Mosque from XV century. Upon arrival in Ohrid, lunch in a local restaurant and start with Ohrid city tour. Ohrid city tour includes sightseeing of the following sights: Old Bazaar of Ohrid, Ali Pasha Mosque, Old Chinar Tree, walking through the old town, Upper Gate, Fortress of  Samoil, Ancient Theatre, church of saint Sophia, st. Jovan Kaneo and more historic monasteries, Church of Saints Clement and Panteleimon, pearl Shop and Ohrid Square. Optional boat cruise.

Free time for shopping. Check-in, dinner and overnight.

DAY 5 

Destination: Ohrid-Tirana-Budva
Meal plan: Lunch, Dinner
Accommodation in Budva: 4* Hotel

Today we will visit the amazing Saint Naum Monastery and the springs from Black Drim river! Later we will cross the border to Albania and head our way to Tirana.

Upon arrival in Tirana we will enjoy lunch in a local restaurant and proceed with panoramic tour from bus to see Skanderbeg Square, Skanderbeg Statue, Et’hem Bey Mosque and Clock Tower. We will proceed to Budva and start with walking city tour of the city.

Budva city tour includes sightseeing of the following sights: Land Gate, Ancient Necropolis, The Fortress, Njegosh’s street, Marina, Mediteranska street, Ballerina and Morgen Beach. Lunch in a local restaurant.

DAY 6 

Destination: Budva-Kotor-Mostar-Sarajevo
Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Accommodation in Sarajevo: 4* Hotel

After breakfast, our next stop is the gorgeous little city Kotor. Enjoy walking city which includes sightseeing of the following sights: Square of Arms, Besckuca Palace, Byzanti Palace, Pima Palace, St. Tryphon Palace, Martime Museum and North Gate. As a biggest attraction are the city walls thanks to which Kotor became a part of UNESCO World Heritage. After finishing we will proceed towards Mostar and explore the city. Mostar city tour includes sightseeing of the following sights: Old bridge (UNESCO World Heritage), Bey’s Mosque, Oriental Bazar and Turkish House.

It’s time to head our way to Sarajevo. 

We will visit Vrelo Bosne (the source of the Bosna River, with lovely lakes full of fish and swans and small green islands) and the Museum Tunnel of Hope. After lunch in a local restaurant, start with Sarajevo city Tour. Sarajevo city tour includes sightseeing of the following sights: Bashcarsija, Numerous Mosques and oriental shops, Latin Bridge, Vjecnica, Town Hall.

Free time for leisure and shopping. Check-in, dinner and overnight.

DAY 7 

Destination: Sarajevo-Bihac
Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Accommodation in Plitvice area: 4* Hotel

After breakfast we will head to Travnik, the capital city of Bosnian area during the Ottoman. On the way stop at village Ahmici.

 Upon arrival in Travnik, lunch in a local restaurant and proceed with Panoramic city tour of Travnik. Panoramic city tour of Travnik includes the following sights: Castle of Travnik, Sulejmanije Mosque, Ibrahim Pasha Medresa, Varos Mosque and blue water. Continue to Bihac.

DAY 8 

Destination: Bihac-Zagreb 
Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Accommodation in Zagreb: 4* Hotel

After breakfast we will drive towards Plitvice Lakes. 

Get ready your cameras! It is time to take amazing pictures of the oldest, largest, and the most amazing national park in Croatia.

We will proceed to Zagreb. Upon arrival lunch in a local restaurant we will start with city tour. City tour of Zagreb includes sightseeing of the following sights Dolac bazzar, St Mark church, Lotrscak tower, Ban Jelacic square. Free time at leisure.

DAY 9

Destination: Departure from Zagreb Airport
Meal plan: Breakfast
No accommodation 

We came to the end of this amazing adventure.

After breakfast, transfer to Zagreb Airport for your flight back home, bringing back wonderful memories and souvenirs from the Balkans. It is time to count days until your next adventure with DMC BALKANS Travel & Events.

This tour can be done in reverse order.

• Payment exclusively in denars, exchange rate 1 euro = 62 mkd.
• Accommodation is in hotels listed in the program or similar.
• Payment upon reservation 50% and there is no possibility to cancel, change the date or change the names after the issuance of the plane ticket. Surcharge up to 100% 30 days before the start of the trip.
• The passport must be valid for at least 180 days from the date of completion of the itinerary.

• GENERAL TRAVEL CONDITIONS OF TA - DMC BALKANS TRAVEL & EVENTS are applied to the program.
• The organizer reserves the right to cancel the itinerary in full as a result of a pandemic without refund, but with the possibility of issuing a voucher that customers that can be used in the next period according to current conditions.
• The organizer reserves the right to change the price of the itinerary in case of change in the price of the hotel.
• In case of material damage caused during the stay, the user compensates the damage to the owner on the spot.
